Horai Scarf or Shawl by Hiroko Fukatsu
Hiroko originally designed this scarf in 2011, when she donated her entire sales to Japan Earthquake and Tsunami relief. It's a simple and lovely pattern and deserves a second look.
Worked in our beautiful JaggerSpun silk and wool yarn, this scarf is knit with a single elegant pattern stitch throughout.
This yarn is soft and lustrous and provides excellent stitch definition and drape. Size 5 US needle (3.75mm) Approx 14 x 72 inches
This pattern is easy to resize, so make it shorter or longer as you wish. You can also easily make it a larger garment just by casting on extra stitches to increase the width.
Our kit contains the pattern, which includes photos for making the pattern stitch, and enough yarn for a large project with a generous surplus.
