Update (September)   Sometimes these things just go on and on, don' they?   Finally frogged this baby back to the panel shown below.  It could become a scarf, but, sigh, just not sure………..

Update (April)  I've decided this yarn is all wrong for the garment I'm making.  It's wonderfully soft and will make a lovely something, but I need a lighter weight, smoother yarn for this camisole project. Sending this baby to the Frog Pond

Update (Feb):  Have finished the edging, and then blocked, picked up stitches and have begun knitting up.  I'm a little concerned this might be too large…………...

Winter Camisole  begun in Jan 2010
Here's the camisole bottom border -- size 3 US needle.  Yarn is Baby Cashmere, an alpaca, merino, cashmere blend.

I like the hand of this yarn, very soft, and not splitty.  Branching leaves pattern is knit as a bottom border, then stitches are picked up for the rest of the garment.  Knit from the bottom up.

Cabled vestBamboo/wool yarn, size 5 US needle.  Started Dec 08

Finished, fall of 2009

Having made one trip to the frog pond, this vest is now finished.  I love this bamboo/wool blend  It drapes beautifully, but also has such excellent stitch definition that these cables really pop!
Size 5 US needle

Vest inspired by Berroco's Louella pattern.
