Soysilk, dyed in a variegated colorway of medium blue to yellow, spun on my Louet wheel, then navajo plied.
The finished yarn measures approx 22 wpi
I used a size 2 US needle to knit this little Heart Sachet

This bobbin of beautiful yarn was spun by my friend, Louise, on my Louet while we were on vacation together. Luckily for me, she really was in a spinning mood and hadn't brought her wheel. I was happy to have her spin up the fiber I had brought! This fiber is from Linda at Grafton Fibres in VT. www.graftonfibres.com There's just about 7 ounces, and over 700 yards (about 16000 yards per pound) I plan to ply it to, or carry it with, some beautiful commercial mohair--see below.

Here's a photo of the mohair. One of 4 skeins, about 1000 yds total. Looks like a PERFECT match to me!

Went on a little stash search, thinking about a pair of socks, and came up with these The beautiful taupe yarn is wonderfully soft Finn x from Tylerfarm in Maine, the other yarns are handspun from batts I got at Grafton Fibers in Vermont.
I haven't yet made the socks, but the variegated yarn in balls turned into these mittens
